You can make a donation in memory of Ewan Eliezer Petermann to Seattle Children's Hospital. All funds will go towards Congenital Heart Defect research. It is estimated that approximately 1 out of every 100 babies born in the United States are born with some type of congenital heart defect, making it the most common type of birth defect. CHDs claim the lives of more children than all types of childhood cancers combined, but research is grossly underfunded. Your donation to Seattle Children's Hospital will not only honor Ewan's memory, but will help researchers in the treatment and prevention of these awful diseases, and help to find a way so that one day, no family will have to say goodbye to a child.
