Sometimes, We Laugh

James is pretty good at inciting laughter.

When I asked him this morning what I should blog about, he said this: Blog about how cute your husband is and how much you like to kiss him.

So there you have it, world. My husband is cute and I like to kiss him.

In other news, I have my 6-week follow up with my OB today. I imagine that for all the laughter we are having here, there will be a few tears shed at that appointment as we share the pictures of Ewan she requested we bring.

And then there will be some laughter again.

Your husband is funny!! There will always be laughter just as there will always be pain. I think you just have to find the right mixture of the two.

Lots of hugs to you! You have amazing strength, and Ewan is watching from above with such love for his Mommy. :)

I'm sure you've read it many times before, probably recently. But your post so very reminded of one of my favorite passages from the Bible:

Ecc. 3:1-8
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—

A time to give birth and a time to die;

A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.

A time to kill and a time to heal;

A time to tear down and a time to build up.

A time to weep and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn and a time to dance.

A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.

A time to search and a time to give up as lost;

A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;

A time to be silent and a time to speak.

A time to love and a time to hate;

A time for war and a time for peace.

...ღ¸„øºღ ♥.•*¨*•♫♪and there will be singing!
This post made me smile and chuckle all with a lump in my throat for your upcoming appointment...
My husband has that same sense of humor, I treasure it. The man can make me laugh in the hardest of times, and he does so while suffering himself...just for me.
God certainly has blessed us with wonderful me...men just for us. :)

Blessings,
Andrea

I like knowing there is laughter in your house, alongside the tears. The tears must make the laughter so much more hearty and instill such a sense of gratitude for those very moments when you are just inside the laughter.

Good on James for making you laugh. :)

It warms my heart to see laughter apart of the other feelings you are visiting with.

Thinking of you today with your appointment. Great to hear your OB is so invested in you and Ewan. Too many doctors detach themselves from feeling it all. But the best ones are right there in it.

Praying for you.

God Bless
