| 4 weeks old!! |
It's so amazing to see how quickly she changes -- James says that every day he comes home from work, he comes home to a different baby and I feel the same every time I wake up. Nursing is going so much better than it was 10 days ago -- we are not frustration-free by any means, but we've definitely overcome some major hurdles and are having an easier time with it now. She's gaining weight and length at the expected pace and is just so much fun to be with during the day.
It's amazing to me that at almost 10 pounds now, she's still in newborn clothes (but the newborn and 0-3 month size socks are too small for her). My guess is that all the weight she's gained is going toward growing longer -- I feel like I gave birth to a human string bean!!
I still say taking care of her is by far one of the most difficult things I've ever done -- but I also believe that it is the best job in the world. :o)
